Daybreak: Internal Death/Birth is a collaborative experimental animation that explores a deeply personal passage through adversity toward renewal and transformation. Combining hand-crafted 2D animation with stop-motion techniques, the work moves between material and digital processes to evoke the instability of memory, identity, and emotional experience. The visual elements were composited in Nuke, creating a layered environment in which fragmentation gradually gives way to rebirth. Ultimately, the film reflects on resilience and the possibility of emerging from darkness with a renewed sense of hope.
