This collaborative feminist animated short by Megan Ehrhart and Knut Hybinette critically examines the womb through the metaphor of the modern industrial factory. The project considers reproduction as both a biological process and a form of labor shaped by social, political, and institutional forces. Through industrial imagery, mechanical repetition, and the visual language of mass production, the animation investigates bodily autonomy, reproductive control, and the cultural mechanization of the female body.
The work is situated within contemporary feminist discourse and creative research concerning gender, labor, technology, and institutional power. Its factory metaphor invites viewers to consider how reproductive bodies may be regulated, standardized, or treated as instruments of production.

Although scholarly research and creative work are addressed separately under Texas Education Code § 51.3525(d), I have chosen to withhold the visual materials because of concerns surrounding the current implementation of Texas Senate Bill 17 and my responsibilities in an academic leadership position.
